Our names are Lexi and Beth, and we are a mother-daughter duo from Michigan! We began our food photography & recipe development journey in June of 2015 as a way to share our passion for cooking and nutrition, despite living 600 miles apart.
We both strongly believe in the importance of nourishing your body with nutrient-rich, whole foods. All recipes are gluten free, most are completely vegan, and we try our best to sprinkle in “superfoods” as often as possible.
Lexi is a recent graduate of Amherst College, where she received a bachelor’s degree in English. She now lives in NYC area, where she is the Social Media Coordinator & Assistant Food Editor at feedfeed, a crowdsourced digital cooking publication and community. If you aren’t familiar with feedfeed, be sure to check out their Instagram (@thefeedfeed) and website (thefeedfeed.com) for thousands of incredible recipes!
Lexi is a former collegiate Cross Country and Track & Field athlete, which largely influenced her passion for nutrition and healthy eating. She is also a dog lover, a peanut butter addict and a voracious reader.
Beth is a High School Cross Country Coach in West Bloomfield, Michigan, wife to Todd, mother to three lovely children + two crazy dogs that love veggies as much as she does. (Seriously, they sit at her feet waiting for carrots and kale to “fall on the ground” every time she cooks.) Formerly a preschool teacher, she now channels her creativity into photography and recipe development.
Beth was also Lexi’s high school Cross Country & Track Coach, which allowed them to cultivate a unique mother-daughter relationship of teamwork and positivity. Lover of superfood smoothies, Disney, and Lululemon.
